# The hospital needs supplies in a storm

**The dilemma.** A storm warning has shut the Port Kestrel road and every haulier has parked up. The harbour hospital is running out of dialysis supplies. Marcus, the Regulator and your insurer all say: nobody drives tonight.

## Options and what happens

- **Send a convoy anyway, with volunteers only.** (bold: d20 + adviser skill against 14)
  - Succeeds: Three trucks crawl through the rain and arrive at 4 a.m. The nurses come out to meet them.
  - Fails: A truck slides into a ditch. Everyone is safe, nothing arrives and the Regulator wants a word.
- **Wait for the storm to pass, as advised.** (certain): The supplies arrive at noon by army helicopter. Nobody blames you.
- **Leave it to the authorities.** (certain): The authorities manage. Your name is not in the story either way.
